When you select J. Higgins Ltd., for your Highland dress you are selecting a company that actually tailors your clothing.  We make the kilts, jackets, hose and other clothing accessories.  This gives us complete quality control in crafting your Highland attire . 

 

All of our tartans and woolens are imported from Scotland.  Here at J. Higgins, Ltd. we use authentic tartans in 100% wool.  We use our own patterns for your jackets and our staff of kiltmakers has been trained in the art of Scottish kiltmaking.   We have about 30 individuals who make their living servicing our customers and we make thousands of garments every year. 

 

We've been doing this since 1983 and, thankfully, count numerous pipe bands, clan societies, military institutions, schools and individuals, such as yourself, as our valued customers.

 

We can get any tartan that is not private or copyrighted. Call us if you don't see your tartan.

 

We can make kilts and sell yardage in all the major US military tartans:

• US Army,
• US Navy,
• US Air Force,
• US Marines,
• and we can make the US Coast Guard in bulk.

MOST KILTS TAKE 8 WEEKS TO DELIVER. Some we can do it in a shorter amount of time. Please call to discuss. IN ADDITION TO OUR NORMAL TARTAN SERVICE we can provide a SPECIAL TARTAN SERVICE for you if your name is not included in our tartan lists. If your family has a tartan registered, but not available from stock, we can weave fabric for you.
