Great Starter for New Talents

As a beginner student for bagpiping, it is a neat transition from being on the mid-section drumline (Bass and Tenor drumming) and a unique, warming opportunity to expand my horizons. Quality of work is excellent to the point where I am glad that my university band that I run is able to purchase this item specifically.
Great starter practice chanter

As a beginner in nearly every sense, except for music theory and not having another practice chanter to compare it too, here are my impressions. This looks to be a handmade instrument, spun on a lathe and drilled by hand. The quality is excellent and the material is a hard black plastic. The tone isn’t brilliant, kinda mute, but this is plastic and it’s designed to learn on. I enjoy learning on it and will not look to another one until I am proficient with it. For the price. and beginning from the start, I am satisfied with this instrument.

I decided to learn the bagpipes at 51 years of age. I bought this chanter based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews, and I am very happy with my decision. A very solid chanter for the regular guy.

I am 58 years old and have always loved hearing bagpipes being played. So one day I decided I want to learn to play. After much research this was the practice chanter of choice. So far I really like this chanter and plan on many years together. Hopefully in 2020 I will be ready for my first set of bagpipes.
Can't be beat for the price

I bought my son a McCallum PC2 before I bought this for me. The only way I can tell the two apart is the name printed on the chanter.
Plays well and is very sturdy.
