PIOBARMOR Chanter Case
Intended Purpose: Purchased to store/transport practice chanter. What to know: This is not a hard case. The plastic shell is soft and flexes more than expected. It will collapse under pressure. Did not come with any padding. Chanter rests loose inside the case and rattles around during transport. The telescoping feature locks into place with a 1/2” twist but does not always hold. Modifications for improvement: Adding foam padding to both ends of the tube, as well as a padded internal sleeve, greatly improves functionality. Recommend securing the telescoping seam with black electrical tape once desired length is set and the tube is locked into place. Overall, not a bad product. Lacking some key features that would significantly Improve quality and function. (Shop reply: Kristopher, thanks so much for your comments. We now have foam sleeves that are sold with these. Let us know if you'd like one and we'll send it your way. Thanks again.)
