Product Description
Our velvet bagpipe bag covers with flat braid trim are made in-house. We ask you to tell us your bag make and size because we have a pattern for regular bags, and a pattern for Ross bags, which are quite a bit different. Just type that information in during checkout.
They are available with extra features like zippers & no-skid patches for an additional $5.00 each.
Please note: We try to keep these covers in stock, but we have a wide variety of colors and features. We'll call or email you if the cover you order is not in stock. It normally takes about 3 weeks to make a bag cover if it is not in stock.
Available in black, bottle green, navy, red, royal and wine velvet and either black, bottle green, gold, light blue, navy, red, or white gimp fringe.

The pipe bag cover arrived quickly. It is a high quality bag cover and fit my bannatyne hybrid medium pipe bag very well. I am very happy with my purchase.

The fabric and craftsmanship of the bag cover are of nice quality. The cover fits my bag well and works well when played.

A nice bag cover, with material that will last, and looks great. One thing is the bag is about 1-1/2" short. The end of my pipe bag sticks out the end, and my pipe bag is blue so you can see it clearly. I use a Jack Lee cowhide bag which is dyed blue and the end of the bag sicks out about 1/2", so an extra 1-1/2" of the bag cover would have been perfect. (John's reply: I don't know your name, but we can certainly make you a bag with an extra 1 1/2" in back. There are all types and sizes of bags out there, and we do our best, but more than happy to get you want you want. Please feel free to return with instructions.)

The bag cover was great, but the fringe had to be fabric glued to prevent unravelling.

Great product only thing I would say is that the patch is pretty far back . (John's reply: Thanks for the feedback Alastair. We'll move the patch 1" towards the front).

The bag cover is beautiful, but I've never had a bag cover this difficult to get on the bag. I've used four different bag covers over the past ten years. Several times, while attempting to get it on, I thought it must be wrong somehow, or maybe it just wasn't made to fit on a Willie McCallum med/long, then I saw the other review below say it was a perfect fit for them. Mine was VERY tight and very hard to get on. Once on, and it took a long time and a lot of wrestling, it's nice. I don't look forward to the next time I have to take it off, but hope it gets easier each time. The only other thing I'd like is a strip of Velcro at the back opening of the bad to completely seal and hide the bag. (Owner's Reply: We just spoke on the phone, and I will be happy to make you a bigger bag cover if you like. Looking forward to hearing from you. We want you to be happy with the fit. John).

J Higgins work on the custom bag covers I have ordered has been first rate. The velvet bag I ordered for my band pipes is no different - a perfect fit for the Willie McCallum bag!
