I had been searching for somewhere to buy a couple stand-line vests at a good price and this looked like a great deal since they are made in the USA and come with a fabric back. The construction and quality are top notch. I also like the close but not too snug fit. Only problem is, even though I stated my height at 64” they sent a regular length. As a result, it’s too long for a kilt vest (would be a good length for a suit vest). I checked and unfortunately they are out of 42S in any of the three colors, and won’t have any for awhile. I really do like it otherwise, so I’m going to take it up a little at the shoulders and also flatten the bottom. It should be fine.
The only other thing I want to mention is the color is much darker than any Lovat Green I’ve ever seen. I thought the picture on the website was just dark, but it turns out its pretty close to the actual color. That being said, it is an attractive color, just be aware it may not be the same as other Lovat Green you have seen.

This is a very well made wool vest. It is a darker herringbone pattern lovat green. The back is also wool making for very solid construction.
