Product Description
We make spats with either white or black buttons. Made from 100% cotton duck fabric for easy washing and cleaning, they're fastened with velcro with a functional top and bottom button. We make these in even shoe sizes 6 though 14 in regular (12" @ top of spat), wide (14" @ top of spat), and extra wide (16" @ top of spat).
The wide and extra wide price is $10.00 more than the regular sized spats.
Spat size information for women: If you are ordering for a lady, then please deduct 1 1/2 sizes from your ladies shoe size and order that size.
For example, if you wear a ladies 9 1/2 you would order a men's size 8. We will assume you have done that conversion and will send you the size you order.
NOTE: Top of spat is 10" up from ground and DOES NOT go over calf. Please state shoe size and button color when ordering. We recommend you go up one size if you're an odd numbered size (i.e. 9 fits our 10). Please view our video below for measuring tips:

Not the old standard

Thr soars today are much more flimsy than in past years. The elastic is cheaper quality and frankly they wear out faster than those I purchased 10 years ago. (John's reply: Stephen, that's strange. We have been ordering from the same cotton supply mill using the same 10oz thickness and same elastic supplier, so I really don't have a good answer for you. John)

Good quality spats at a reasonable price. The measurement around the calf guarantees a great fit. My shoe size is 8 1/2-9. so I ordered a size 8 and they fit perfect. These are our official band spats.

A Bit Yellow...

The fabric is a bit yellow, not as bright a white as I thought they’d be. The top is also a bit small, I measured my calf and it was 11in so I ordered the standard (12”) wanting them to be a bit snug for a more professional appearance. There ended up being about an inch and a half gap at the top, could not even get them close. I’ve ordered another pair in the large top. They’ve come in and fit. Asking band members if they’d like to purchase the regular ones at cost, if not, I’ll need to return the first pair.
