    Purchased my first Glengarry from JHiggins 20 years ago, still wearing it, although it may not look as good as it did, structurally it's holding up great! so there's no reason not to purchase my 2nd one from JHiggins as well. Great product

16. Wish sizing were better explained

    The glengarry is of high quality, fast shipping, great doing business with JHiggins. I do have a suggestion. These hats are made in Scotland wear sizing is different from US standard. When selecting the size, the choices are in US standard. I recommend providing a sizing conversion chart or explanation. I selected 7 3/8 which is what all of my other fitted hats (including military covers). However, this was too large in the glengarry. I went online to look up glengarry sizing, and lo and behold, UK sizing runs very differently than standard US hat sizes. If JHiggins could provide a conversion chart, that would be great. If not, let buyers know it's probably a good idea to order a size smaller than their US standard size. (John's reply: Brian thanks for the suggestion. We try and do that behind the scene, but the glengarry is a different shaped hat, so it makes it a little more difficult. We're always glad to exchange hats to get you the right fit).

    My son, age 11 just got kilted and we needed a glen. This looks like a great option for a growing kid!

    I had a few questions about this product, so I called the number listed. A real person got back to me the next day and was not only friendly but very helpful and informative. Shipping was faster then expected. Product was perfect, as described, and looks well made. Was a Father's day gift for my husband, he loves it. Although it's too hot to wear wool in our Kansas summers, I expect he will be wearing it alot when the weather cools. Was worried about the fit, but matched the size to my husband's Stedson and it fits well. I WILL be ordering from this company again. Hopefully I can swing a custom tartan kilt for husband's anniversary gift. That would be so cool! Glad I found this place.
