Product Description
Our Class A Honor Guard jackets are made in a wool blend of 55/45. This black jacket comes with metallic gold trim on the collar and epaulettes, two front pockets, two inside pockets, two belt hooks and easy-to-remove buttons of your choice. Available in stock sizes from 38 to 58 in regular (25" sleeve) and long (26.5" sleeve) sizes and exchangeable if the first size doesn't fit.

As a general guide, we suggest the following size per weight range. Size 32 (130-140lbs), Size 34 (141-150lbs), Size 36 (151-160lbs), Size 38(161-170lbs), Size 40 (171-180lbs), Size 42 (181-190lbs), Size 44 (191-200lbs), Size 46 (201-210lbs), Size 48 (211-220lbs), Size 50 (221-230lbs), Size 52 (231-240lbs), Size 54 (241-250lbs), Size 56 (251-260lbs), Size 58 (261-270lbs), Size 60 (271lbs & up)
Here are the chest and waist sizing for each size. Generally speaking the waist will be 4" smaller than the chest. If your waist measurement is bigger than the chest size, then go up to the size that will fit the waist: Chest size 32 has 29 waist, chest size 34 has 30 waist, chest size 36 has 32 waist, chest size 38 has 34 waist, chest size 40 has 36 waist, chest size 42 has 38 waist, chest size 44 has 40 waist, chest size 46 has 42 waist, chest size 48 has 44 waist, chest size 50 has 46 waist, chest size 52 has 48 waist, chest size 54 has 50 waist, chest size 56 has 52 waist, chest size 58 has 54 waist, chest size 60 has 56 waist.

Good quality, but overall service is bad

I ordered the jacket because, I got the company recommended and 10-15 day delivery time was perfect for me.
However be aware this is really only the delivery time. There is no mentioning of how long they need to produce it.
I tried everything to get the jacket in time as I needed it for a certain event (2 month after placing my order). However not even offering paying more for the delivery in time, there was no afford to accommodate my request. They were aware of the delay and also mentioned it in various emails. But only chance to get it in time, was to get a bigger size (which makes no sense at all) and I need a delivery address in the US.
If writing them an email it mostly to a long time to get an answer. The main excuse was: "we are really busy" and we are sorry it takes longer than expected.
At end I had to wait over 3 month to receive my jacket, which looks fine. I had to pay extra duty/tax, which I knew but when I mentioned that in my last email, I got no answer and they did not even offer the courtesy to pay for it honour the delayed delivery.
Overall this experience spoiled the quality of the jacket. I have never been treated as a customer so badly and without any courtesy as in this case. (John's reply: Michael, I'm sorry for your disappointment but I'm going to reply point by point just to give this some perspective. 1) We let you know the day you ordered that this was out of stock and would be a few months for delivery. Initially it seemed to be acceptable to you but when we received multiple emails we suggested the next size up as an alternative and you accepted that offer and we shipped it immediately. 2) We're very clear that you can expect shipping to take 10 to 15 days for international orders. The time frame to make your jacket was mention to you up front and we told you we couldn't meet that requested date. 3) We clearly state that duties will be assessed by your government when something is shipped from another country. No surprise there.
4) We feel we gave you accurate information that you could base your decision on and gave you the option to cancel the order initially. You chose not to cancel. The only problem is that you do not like the reality of the situation that you ordered a jacket at the time that wasn't available. To now complain that nothing was done, or that you were ignored, is just not an accurate description of the situation and how we attempted to help you. Every conversation we had with you was up front and accurate and agreed to by you. This company is responsive and treats our customers with respect. On rare occasions we cannot deliver in time for particular events. Again, I'm sorry this upset you. I feel that we worked repeatedly to get you a good solution. John Higgins

Our color guard unit ordered up these jackets for our formal events. Half of the group has received them and the fit has been just right for everyone so far. Very satisfied with the quality. We couldn't be more pleased!!!!!

Purchased a CLASS A HONOR GUARD KILT JACKET to wear to the Blair County Veterans Honor Guard (of which I am a member) annual banquet. Jacket was a hit. Excellent customer service. I will be buying again from J. Higgins.

This is a lightweight jacket that is well made and fit very well. The real gold star is for the AWESOME customer service.
