Product Description
Our Class A Honor Guard jackets are made in a wool blend of 55/45. This black jacket comes with silver trim on the collar and epaulettes, two front pockets, two inside pockets, two belt hooks and easy-to-remove buttons of your choice. Available in stock sizes from 38 to 58 in regular (25" sleeve) and long (26.5" sleeve) sizes and exchangeable if the first size doesn't fit.

As a general guide, we suggest the following size per weight range. Size 32 (130-140lbs), Size 34 (141-150lbs), Size 36 (151-160lbs), Size 38(161-170lbs), Size 40 (171-180lbs), Size 42 (181-190lbs), Size 44 (191-200lbs), Size 46 (201-210lbs), Size 48 (211-220lbs), Size 50 (221-230lbs), Size 52 (231-240lbs), Size 54 (241-250lbs), Size 56 (251-260lbs), Size 58 (261-270lbs), Size 60 (271lbs & up)
Here are the chest and waist sizing for each size. Generally speaking the waist will be 4" smaller than the chest. If your waist measurement is bigger than the chest size, then go up to the size that will fit the waist: Chest size 32 has 29 waist, chest size 34 has 30 waist, chest size 36 has 32 waist, chest size 38 has 34 waist, chest size 40 has 36 waist, chest size 42 has 38 waist, chest size 44 has 40 waist, chest size 46 has 42 waist, chest size 48 has 44 waist, chest size 50 has 46 waist, chest size 52 has 48 waist, chest size 54 has 50 waist, chest size 56 has 52 waist, chest size 58 has 54 waist, chest size 60 has 56 waist.

Class A Honor Guard jacket

I have owned this same jacket for the past 6 years. It has stood up to moderate use as a bagpipers jacket. It has retained its quality over that time.
I recently purchased a new Class A jacket again from JHiggjns. I ordered a larger size as my previous one had become snug. The new jacket again retained the same high quality, fit and finish.

This jacket is a fine garment that looks amazing. The fit and structure give the jacket the appearance that it was tailored to fit me exactly. The silver piping and chrome thistle buttons create a striking contrast and with wearing a belt on top of the jacket with the provided support hooks creates a very clean appearance. Coupled together with a horse hair sporran and you’ll look very sharp.

No. 2 Military Dress

I bought the jacket and matching Sam Browne cross belt to pipe at a veterans funeral. At 102 degrees it was a better choice than the full military dress. Much easier to don and doff. The veteran's honor guard loved the look and gave many compliments. I'll be wearing the No. 2 Dress more often.

Very Comfortable and Sharp Looking Jacket

First of all, I have to say the service was fantastic to say the least. Secondly, the jackets are very comfortable even in triple digit temperatures. I am going to order another one - a size smaller - but I got this other one due to time constraints and the one I needed was out of stock- but that was not the fault of the company. I will either sell the one I had or tailor it - but it still looked good even though a wee bit larger than wanted. We received TONS of compliments as a result. I don't see the option here to post a picture of us wearing our jackets with our kilts and all else from this past weekend - back to back events that were popped up on us at the last minute. Thank YOU for accommodating us and making it happen that we all could wear our tunics/jackets for these important events this past weekend. I am here to tell you these jackets are VERY comfortable to say the least. Top quality!!!!! THANKYOU!!!! (John's reply: Thank you for the kind words. I'm glad you like the jackets. Honor Guard

Our post has been looking for a formal Honor Guard jacket for some time. This was half the cost of other brands. Lighter weight but still awesome looking. If I could add a photo of it I would. Delivery was 3 days as standard US shipping, Was not creased upon arrival and a light steaming did the job. The fit was better then expected for off the shelf sizes. We are happy with this product and would be happy to get more.

I felt very comfortable in the Jacket, I wore it in San Diego in cool weather and in El Centro in the heat for the Caltrans Fallen Workers memorial. I thought it looked very nice with my uniform. I dressed similar to Jason Paquio, I did add a belt
