Leather sporran belt

The black, pebbled leather sporran belt appears to be of good quality and is long enough to allow the sporran to be suspended at the proper level. Length was a concern of mine, since my pant waist size has increased to a 42.
I shop with J. Higgins because of their professionalism and customer care. They are guiding toward my first kilt ensemble and I couldn’t do it without their help. -
Far better than a chain strap

I wouldn't wear anything except a leather sporran strap with my kilt; chains will wear down the fabric over time and catch on things you brush by (and also tangle up a horsehair sporran). The smart kilt wearer does what the army has done for centuries -- go leather! I recommend the Large size unless the strap is for a youth; the lengths/sizes indicated here aren't really comparable to waist sizes. My waist size is 36 to 38 but the strap up to 44" is way too short for me and I had to purchase a replacement. Available in black or brown to match your sporran.

I had been looking for a leather sporran strap for a while. I had hesitated on purchasing one do to the quality questions. I saw this item on the JHiggins web site and knew this would be a quality product. I am not dissapointed in it.

I had trouble keeping my sporran in place with the chain belt provided, The over 44" sporran strap solved my problem.
