Most pipers will agree that the quality of sound of the bagpipe is the most important part in choosing the maker of their bagpipe. So, it is ironic for me to say that the first time I saw a Wallace bagpipe, I was impressed with the look of the instrument.
When you first see a Wallace bagpipe, it is obvious that a lot of attention to detail has gone into the making of their pipes. When you play the Wallace bagpipe, you realize that the first impression is a clue of what's to come. The sound is beautiful.
We're so thrilled to introduce the Wallace Bagpipe to our customers, we're offering a $50 Gift Certificate towards the purchase of a J. Higgins Kilt when you purchase a Wallace Bagpipe.

John started piping in 1969. He climbed the ranks to become an Open class professional piper. He is a 4 time US Open champion and also won just about every major Open contest in America and was P/M of a grade 1 band. He also competed around the Scottish solo circuit picking up prizes, and played in both the Silver Medal and Gold Medal competitions in Oban and Inverness, figuring in the price list on a few occasions.
Produced by owner Craig Munro, the Wallace Bagpipe will be a treasured pipe and a very worthy investment in your piping future. Craig, a member of St. Laurence O'Toole Pipe Band (2010 World Pipe Band Champions), and performing member of the Red Hot Chili Pipers, knows his way around the instrument. You will enjoy his work. Check out his story in the video below. I think you'll enjoy it.
