Our 100% wool J.Higgins daywear argyle kilt jacket features silver square rampant lion buttons, one outer left chest pocket, two lower body pockets, and two inside chest pockets. We recommend pushing these tricky square buttons through the buttonholes via their side first rather than the pointed tip. This style shown with Prince Charlie sleeves is one of the most versatile pieces of highland attire one can own as you can wear this as a black-tie formal garment as well as a semi-dress daywear jacket. We craft these in even sizes 32 to 60 in short (5'9" & under), regular (5'10'' to 6'0''), long (6'1" to 6'2"), and extra-long (6'3" & up). Made by our talented staff right here in Kansas City. Exchangeable and returnable if the first size doesn't fit.

MOST VERSATILE DRESS JACKETT
Posted by LACHLAN in SC on 22nd Jun 2019
The jacket is well made and fits to perfection and looks great. I purchased this Braemar Jacket 6 or 8 years ago for formal events, rather going to the expense of a Prince Charlie and have never felt out of place. It has the advantage of being appropriate for less semi-formal events (Use a white tux shirt and bow tie; or use dress shirt and regular tie.) I've recommended it to a friend who needed a dress jacket, but not a daywear one. He is also very pleased with the jacket. As always, J HIggins is great to work with and I highly recommend them.
Prince Charlie sleeved kilt jacket!

This jacket is well fitting and very comfortable, appearance is great, as it has all the fine Prince Charlie Jacket yet slightly less formal, therefore more acceptable for a wider choice of wear. One of the best purchases I've made in years. Working with J. Higgins was a pleasure.
