18 years old now and they still sound Excellent

I purchased my full mounted Shepherd bagpipes from J.Higgins 18 years ago. After all these years they still sound great. They came with synthetic drone reeds, easy chanter reed and gortex bag . Playable right out of the box. I think Shepherd sounds as good as any brand out there. Only pipes I've heard that sound better were a set rare antique pipes a friend let me hear but well those sound better than most pipes. Shepherd pipe are excellent pipes right out of the box!
