Just got two of these today and they work great. A very easy reed to play, doesn't take much air. No issues with squeaking or anything. Is very quiet compared to a few other PC reeds I play. Using this in a Tru Tone long chanter. My son is using it in a regular McCallum PC and it's more in tune than the other reed he's used to playing.

This reed is hard to play, and squawks on random notes. It was well-recommended, but I find it does not live up to those recommendations .

I am using this reed in the Higgins long model pc. It's got a great tone and is easy playing. A minor issue, I will have to swap out to a different reed when playing with the band as it is pitched a bit low to be able to sink it far enough to match tone. Not a big deal, I will use it in solo practice.
