Product Description
The Canmore Goretex lined hide bag with zipper features the original synthetic pipe bag inside a hide bag which gives the piper more control of the bag. As of October 1, 2021 Canmore bags no longer come with a water trap.

Medium (10.25 x 27.25")
Extended Medium (10.25 x 28.25")
Large (11 x 28.25")
Canmore's pipe bag gives you the feel of a traditional bag along with the moisture wicking advantage of a Gortex bag inside. The blowpipe and all three drones are fitted with rubber collars for easy installation. You tie in the chanter stock the traditional way with twine or a C clamp that is provided.
Canmore offers a 2 year warranty on all their bags.
Important Product Note: All bagpipe bags can develop mold and fungi with regular use if not cleaned and disinfected properly. This can lead to chronic inflammatory lung disease. Please take careful precautions to ensure your bag and blowpipe are cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis to prevent mold and fungi from developing.

I got this bag to replace a Bannatyne extended-small hybrid bag, and this bag feels very similar in terms of grommet placement and bag shape/size. I do notice slightly less moisture buildup in the drones with this bag. Overall, a great bag with great service and quick shipping from J.Higgins. I definitely recommend!

This bag is very comfortable and the moisture control is awesome! I played for an hour and had minimal condensation on the drone bores using a tube/bottle water trap. The inside of the bag was damp as one would expect, I swabbed my drones out, by that time the bag was dry! Great moisture wicking material.
J. Higgins has the best prices for anything piping and fast getting the items out the door! -

Hard as heck getting the stocks in there but will never leak in my lifetime. I was playing the old 1 Gen Canmore. It was floppy and leaky. This hybrid is the bomb. I like the heft.

This bag is great and incredibly easy to install. Sliding the stocks in with a touch of soap is the trick. Installing the chanter stock with the o-ring and clamp works great.

Good bag

This is my second hybrid bag. I now play this bag on my solo and my band set. This bag is very easy to set up and does as good a job with moisture as Sheep skin with less maintenance. I have been playing Canmore products since the early 90's The bag this new one replaced, was a 12 year old Canmore. I have tried other hide bags and keep coming back to the Canmore. The only criticism I have is the tape they give you is worthless; just use electrician's tape.

Strikes in well and cuts off very quickly. I had a large bag and downsized to an extended medium. It made a big difference in fit and makes playing much easier! Adding the stocks was also a breeze!

I replaced a medium sized canmore goretex bag with an extended small canmore hybrid. Extremely easy to install! I am enjoying the smaller bag, especially as a female piper (easier around the front bumps) and strike in is so much easier. The bag feels so sturdy and of such good quality, I am looking forward to having it as a musical partner for years.

Replaced my 26 year old Canmore bag with this one. Excellent feel and easy to install (tie in not required). Apparently my other bag had been leaking for sometime, and finally totally gave away on St. Patrick’s Day in my restaurant while I was playing them.
