The Willie McCallum Bannatyne pipe bag features a sizing and design by Willie which improves comfort. Willie set out to design a bag that relieved tension on the tendons in his arm while also making the bag a little narrower. The result is a bag that melds well with your body and lessens slippage, and pressure on the left arm.
The dimensions for the Willie McCallum size are 10" x 27.5". The blowpipe and all three drones are fitted with rubber collars for easy installation. You tie in the chanter stock the traditional way with twine or a C clamp that is provided.

Important Product Note: All bagpipe bags can develop mold and fungi with regular use if not cleaned and disinfected properly. This can lead to chronic inflammatory lung disease. Please take careful precautions to ensure your bag and blowpipe are cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis to prevent mold and fungi from developing.

This bag is great and incredibly easy to install. Sliding the stocks in with a touch of soap is the trick. Installing the chanter stock with the o-ring and clamp works great.
Service was quick! Thank You John.

My old L&M hide bag finally gave out after 22 years. I researched the different kinds of modern bags and settled on a hybrid bag. After speaking to other pipers, I purchased this one.
My drone stocks slid right into the sleeves effortlessly as did the blowstick stock. The chanter stock required a little taping and adjusting, but that is normal. I was amazed at how fast and easy putting everything together really was. I had my pipes going in about 20 minutes from the time I had removed the old bag.
This new bag is comfortable, airtight, and really has the feel of my old trusty hide bag, with similar resonance qualities. I like the zipper since I already dropped a drone reed. No more fishing out a slimy reed!
So far, I am very happy!
