There’s a new player in the game. The Medalist is a well-balanced mallet that is designed for competition. It is a lightweight stick that has incredible balance, definition, and power. A three-foam system allows for a clean, deep, and rich tone without ‘overdriving’ the drum at higher volumes. The mallet shaft is lathe-turned sugar-maple and is designed for playing comfort and maximum stick control.

Available in White, Black, Red and Royal Blue.

Needs Repair Right Out of the Box

My mallets were on back order for quite a while. I got them this week--the mallets are so nice! On close inspection (at band practice) one mallet had a bulge on the top and was not completely stitched. Rather than return them and wait another month I repaired it myself. But seriously? $90? They should be perfect and ready to use. I think you should be aware.
