Product Description
Our Class A Honor Guard jackets are made in a wool blend of 55/45. This black jacket comes with red trim on the collar and epaulettes, two front pockets, two inside pockets, two belt hooks and easy-to-remove buttons of your choice. Available in stock sizes from 38 to 58 in regular (25" sleeve) and long (26.5" sleeve) sizes and exchangeable if the first size doesn't fit.

As a general guide, we suggest the following size per weight range. Size 32 (130-140lbs), Size 34 (141-150lbs), Size 36 (151-160lbs), Size 38(161-170lbs), Size 40 (171-180lbs), Size 42 (181-190lbs), Size 44 (191-200lbs), Size 46 (201-210lbs), Size 48 (211-220lbs), Size 50 (221-230lbs), Size 52 (231-240lbs), Size 54 (241-250lbs), Size 56 (251-260lbs), Size 58 (261-270lbs), Size 60 (271lbs & up)
Here are the chest and waist sizing for each size. Generally speaking the waist will be 4" smaller than the chest. If your waist measurement is bigger than the chest size, then go up to the size that will fit the waist: Chest size 32 has 29 waist, chest size 34 has 30 waist, chest size 36 has 32 waist, chest size 38 has 34 waist, chest size 40 has 36 waist, chest size 42 has 38 waist, chest size 44 has 40 waist, chest size 46 has 42 waist, chest size 48 has 44 waist, chest size 50 has 46 waist, chest size 52 has 48 waist, chest size 54 has 50 waist, chest size 56 has 52 waist, chest size 58 has 54 waist, chest size 60 has 56 waist.

Amazing Kilt Jacket!

I was slightly hesitant about spending close to $200.00 for a jacket, however, the jacket I received fit like a glove, looked amazing, was correct in detail, and I got it really fast! Totally amazed at the awesome service I received from J.Higgins. Great job guy's!

Bought this jacket for several upcoming events that require a perfect look. This is actually the second jacket for honours Guard I’ve pitched from J. Higgins. This company has the best customer service that I’ve ever dealt with. ( and I’ve been an officer for 4 decades ) The jacket(s) are crisp and perfect materials and construction. I’ve had uniforms from other vendors costing hundreds of dollars more. No comparison, Higgins is the best. I’m going to be needing to add more uniforms to my rotation and Higgins is my go to. Great Job, Cheers!!!

A Great Jacket

This jacket was well made and very sharp looking. I would be proud to wear one. The only problem I had was that the stock jackets are too short for someone over 6ft. They will custom make one but it will cost more. I was also very happy with the service I received. John's reply: Yes, this customer is 6'3" which is taller than our stock range supports, so if you are a similar height it would be best to have a special cutting which adds $100.00 to the $150.00 price.

Good lightwieght dress jacket

Our Fire Dept pipe band decided to go with a good light weight alternate dress jacket and we purchased these off the shelf. We sized ourselves and sent in measurements. The first Jacket I received was just a little snug at the shoulder and bicep area but I called the customer service line and got the next size up Jacket within 3 days. Excellent customer service and worked with us to get correct fit.

Red Trim Class A Coat and Blue Trim Class A Coat

I purchased both Class A honor guard coats; one with red trim and one with blue trim. Very good quality and at an excellent price. The blue trim coat would be excellent for police pipe bands. This company also has wonderful customer service. I've been very happy with my purchases from J. Higgins!

When I was shopping for a class A style jacket this one caught my eye, and the price was unbeatable. John even noticed I was looking and volunteered to help with questions. He told me they were adding sizes and options and I decided to wait to get just what I wanted. I received it and it's much better than I expected. Great craftmanship and a good medium weight. It's fully lined and the silver buttons I chose really make it pop. The sizing is right on as well. I can't say enough great things about this whole process and I will come here first when I'm buying piping supplies and highland wear in the future.
